Faith Lift – Leddy Hammock

Faith Lift – Leddy Hammock

When I’m quiet in prayer, I open my heart, I open my heart.

When I’m quiet in prayer I let go of fear, I let go of fear.

When I’m quiet in prayer, I see only love, I see only love.

When I’m quiet in prayer, I open my heart, I let go of fear, and I see only love.  Alleluia!

“But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you” (Mt.6:6).

When I’m quiet in prayer, I open my heart, I open my heart.

“Jesus said . . . ‘Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not waver . . . . even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.  Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive” (Mt. 21:2-22).

When I’m quiet in prayer I let go of fear, I let go of fear.

“Again, (amen,) I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Mt. 19-20).

When I’m quiet in prayer, I see only love, I see only love.

“If your brother . . . wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, ‘I am sorry,’ you should forgive him..’  And the apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith.’ The Lord replied, ‘If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to (this) mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you’” (Luke 17:3-6).

When I’m quiet in prayer, I open my heart, I let go of fear, and I see only love.  Alleluia!
