A licensed practitioner in The Centers for Spiritual Living and a Certified Trainer/Trailblazer for Infinite Possibilities, Gregg Sanderson settled in Florida about eight years ago and is known at UCC for successful workshops he has facilitated at Peace Cottage. With the Rev. Marla Sanderson, ordained CSL minister, Gregg is active in the New Thought Global Network, a website that showcases many powerful Science of Mind and New Thought speakers and writers.
For more than 40 years, Gregg has practiced Living Love (The Science of Happiness) formulated and presented by the late Ken Keyes in Handbook to Higher Consciousness. It’s been a rewarding journey, a “real stress eliminator” and the secret and the source that Gregg credits for his long and happy life. The leaders of Living Love attribute their teaching to “the wisdom of Buddha, Christ, Gandhi and many paths of humanistic development.”
Raised in Christian Science, Gregg converted to Judaism at Union College in Schenectady, NY, while earning a degree in economics. He later became an atheist for 25 years. His spiritual path has been paved with questions, efforts and teachings, all of which enabled him to arrive at the comfortable state of fulfillment, as the Science of Happiness extols, and to share the rewards of rich experiences using the Science of Mind principles. Ernest Holmes, the founder, described the movement as “a philosophy, a faith and a way of life” inspiring spiritual seekers of all faiths to create positive changes.
As he has explored the metaphysical universe, Gregg has also enjoyed the opportunity to live in many of our nation’s high profile cities, including Nashville, San Diego, Denver, Honolulu, Chicago, Miami, Houston, Dallas, and New York City.
Teacher, speaker and workshop facilitator, Gregg is also a writer. Published books include Whatever Happened to Happily Ever After, Spirit With a Smile: The World According to BOB (Being of Bliss) and Split Happens. The cheerful approach to spirituality in Spirit with a Smile earned 5 stars on Amazon by 80 percent of customer reviews, acclaimed for its simple but profound and fun way of looking at the meaning of life. Gregg also writes a monthly column for Transformation Coaching. In a recent column titled “There’s No ‘J’ in OK,” with some humorous examples, Gregg advises “jumping the J’s,” Justassoonas, Justification and Judgment. The problem with the first is the justassoonases always change, the second draws from the past and the third is here and now. If your goal is unconditional love, judgment must go.
A similarly novel approach extends to his vast workshop repertoire on metaphysical and personal growth activities. Gregg is available to lead appropriate positive experiences for interested groups and can be reached at gregg@newthoughtctr.org
