Inspired by lyrics by Richard Maley:
True prayer is communion with the God of my understanding. I can hear God’s voice in my silence.
True prayer is not bargaining with God, but acceptance – without question, of God’s empowering will.
Prayer means doing the work that God gives me to do, and then letting go and letting God. I can feel God’s hands when I’m still.
Prayer is choosing to agree with God’s promise, which is always good and only good.
This life I chose is the gift of God’s pure love.
