The “house” is the consciousness where the Christ child is sheltered. Let Light shine all through the house.

The house of “David, Beloved of the Lord,” and “Jacob, the supplanter” is the consciousness that God loves me and through Him I overcome. Let Light shine all through the house.

My house is my consciousness of Truth. Let Light shine all through the house to light up my life.

Peace to this House Built on Love! Let Light shine all through this house to light the world!


Responsive Reading for December 20

“Then Herod called the magi . . . and . . . sent them to Bethlehem . . . . They were overjoyed at seeing the star and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh” (Matthew 2:7-11).

The “house” is the consciousness of Truth, love, and life,  where the Christ child is sheltered.
Let Light shine all through the house.

“In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming to her, he said, ‘Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you.’ . . .  Behold, you will . . . bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and . . . and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end’” (Luke 1:26-33).

The house of “David, Beloved of the Lord,” and “Jacob, the supplanter” is the consciousness that God loves me and through Him I overcome.
Let Light shine all through the house.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father” (Matthew 5:14-17).

Let Light shine all through the house to light up my life.

Jesus taught: “As you enter a house, wish it peace. If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it” (Matthew 10:12-13).
