“I thank you, Lord, with all my heart; . . . I praise your name for your mercy and faithfulness.
For you have exalted over all your name and your promise. On the day I cried out, you answered; you strengthened my spirit” (Ps.138).

I practice an attitude of gratitude.

“I delight to do your will, my God; your law is in my inner being! … I do not hide your mercy or faithfulness ….  Lord, may you not withhold your compassion from me; May your mercy and your faithfulness continually protect me” (Ps. 40).

My prayers are answered as I praise God from my grateful heart.

“Out of my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me; …  You brought my life up from the pit,  O Lord, my God. When I became faint, I remembered the Lord; My prayer came to you …. I, with thankful voice … have vowed … deliverance is from the LORD” (Book of Jonah).

The grateful heart draws to itself great blessings.

“Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy sanctuary; . . .  Give praise for his mighty deeds . . . .  praise him with harp and lyre…” (Ps. 150 Final Doxology).
