Dad’s Chair – Leddy Hammock

Dad’s Chair – Leddy Hammock

Inspired by the lyrics to Sue Riley’s beautiful song, “Grandpa’s Hands”:

The nature of the Father, seated in our heart of hearts, is to hand good and only good to all who turn to Him.

The kingdom of all divine ideas is at hand, and it is our Father’s loving kindness and everlasting joy to hand the kingdom to all His children.

I am safely held in the hands of the infinite loving Father. I watch what my Father is doing and I do as He shows me. The Father and I are one.

The Father indwelling, our Loving Creator, seated in the Most High in every one of God’s children, is saying, “Watch the Father’s hands. Do as I do.”

For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asks for a fish? If you then . . . know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him?” (Mt. 7:7-11).
