“Mother Nature” – Leddy Hammock

Lyrics to “Mother Nature” by B.A. Huffman:

“From the moment you were born, you were loved beyond compare.
You were cradled in a mothers’ arms, and trusted to her care.
She loved without condition and provided best she could.
She sheltered you with comfort and she taught you bad from good.

And with or without children of your own,
you can honor your mother if you pass her long along.
We all have a mother nature, a place within our self,
to nurture lovingkindness and nourish someone else.

We all have a mother nature, a love that has no end,
so share it with a neighbor, brother, sister, stranger, friend.
If you look around the world, there are families of all kind.
There are children with two fathers, there are mothers left behind.

But we all have love in common, to share with children, pets and friends.
Just use your mother nature, so the story never ends.
But with or without children of our own, we can honor our mothers if we pass their love along.”
