Inspired by lyrics to “If I Were Brave” by Jana Stanfield:
I refuse to listen to the voice of fear.
So, the voice of courage whispers in my ear: “You cannot fail.” And the wind always fills up my sail.
Like the mighty oak sleeps in the heart of the seed, there are miracles in you and me.
I am brave enough to move ahead, where true believers dare to tread, and never lose faith even when losing my way.
I trust the hero in me. I am brave!

“Do not be afraid…. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops…. Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” (Mt. 10:26-31).
